Paint a piece
We have a selection of pre-made bisque ware pieces ready for you to paint. The ceramic pieces have been poured, shaped and fired at approximately 1100 degrees Celsius locally at our studio.
Painting methods to choose from include using underglazes, glazes, translucent and crystals. We have a large selection of colours for you to choose from, just ask one of our staff in the studio for a colour brochure. We use Mayco and Duncan ceramic paints which are safe for use.
Make a piece
Learn how to prepare and pour the mould of your choosing. We use laguna clay by Duncan which we mix daily in our studio. The next step is shaping your piece, ready for its 1st fire in our kiln.
Shaping involves using sponges, sand paper and a special set of tools designed for ceramic art. Finally the piece is cleaned using an air brush and placed in the kiln for firing.
After the first fire your piece is ready to be painted.
